Diversity and Inclusion

Continually striving to understand and enhance what diversity means for our employees, our clients, and the success of CapTech.

At CapTech’s core is the belief that employees are more than the services they provide to their employer and its clients. We embrace the rich and diverse backgrounds that make each of us unique – our passions, cultures, perspectives, and identities. We understand that different thoughts, opinions, and life experiences do not just benefit our teams – they lead to innovation, creativity, and better results for our clients. As we cultivate diversity, we continually try to understand and enhance what diversity means for our employees, our clients, and the success of CapTech.

With Servant Leadership as a CapTech core value, it is not surprising that many of our employees are involved in the community, serving on boards, and supporting nonprofits. From CapTech’s start over 20 years ago, community involvement has always been a key part of the company. CapTech actively participates in or sponsors a number of community events to support the diverse communities in which we live and to foster inclusion in our industry.

Encouraging Inclusion from Within

Going Above
and Beyond
Federal Law

Our EEO Policy goes beyond what is required by federal law by including additional protected categories. The Policy makes clear that all employment-related decisions must be based upon job-related factors, without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender, pregnancy, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status.

CapTech ensures employees have equal access to training and career development. We strive to enhance career progression and development through coaching and mentorship programs, based on merit. We foster employee professional growth by supporting a wide range of opportunities, including industry-recognized certifications, tuition scholarships, and training programs.

As part of our efforts to better attract and retain diverse employees, CapTech offers comprehensive family leave benefits to support the needs of our employees and their families. For example, CapTech’s birth policy includes up to 12 weeks of fully paid leave for those employees delivering a child.

Women's Technology Leadership Council

Our WTLC seeks to engage and support CapTech women by providing educational opportunities, community outreach, and education in the field of technology. We have active chapters across our offices engaging and supporting the community through sponsorships, event attendance, and speaking engagements.

Experienced Hires

We are committed to attracting collaborative employees who exhibit the CapTech Core Values – Trusted Advisor, Servant Leadership, Flexibility, Intellectual Curiosity, and Enthusiasm. We successfully acquire the best talent through a variety of efforts – networking groups, alumni associations, career fairs, special interest groups, and our highly successful referral program.

Students and Graduates

Our award-winning summer internship program, Elevate, provides meaningful immersion into the full lifecycle of a typical IT consulting project. The success of this program and its national recognition has introduced students from diverse colleges and universities. Many of our interns become CapTechers once they earn their degrees. Our college recruiting program includes a wide variety of colleges, universities, and academic programs.
