RICHMOND, VA – November 13, 2015 – CapTech, an award-winning national IT management consulting firm, today announced the successful completion of DataStax's Partner Certification Program and the Apache Cassandra Certification Program, which debuted at Cassandra Summit 2015.
As the demand for qualified DataStax Enterprise and Cassandra engineers becomes more and more crucial, CapTech is among a small class of service providers certified to assist clients with DataStax and Cassandra implementations and remains committed to evolving with technologies that help clients manage their data and analytics needs.
"By participating in DataStax's rigorous training and partner certification program, CapTech consultants are equipped to help leading organizations and government agencies deliver mission-critical big data applications that transform business," said Roxann Kerner, VP Global Alliances, DataStax. Launching at the Cassandra Summit this past September, over 700 developers and administrators have been certified on Apache Cassandra by DataStax and O'Reilly Media. This certification is a pre-requisite for the intense and unique hands-on experience of the DataStax Advanced Certification program that includes testing and a bootcamp to ensure that partners are knowledgeable in the implementation of their platform.
CapTech has decades of experience in data and analytics and has kept track as technologies have evolved in the NoSQL landscape. "Our partnership with DataStax brings expertise and reassurance of project success to the customer and our recent certification reinforces this fact," said Todd Homa, Data Architect & Director, CapTech.
DataStax Enterprise offers scalability and proven fault-tolerance on commodity hardware or cloud infrastructure making it an ideal platform for critical data. DataStax's NoSQL database provides cost savings over traditional databases such as Oracle, DB2 and Teradata, and provides linear scalability allowing an enterprise to scale applications with their growth or seasonal demands.
